MARSEC Corporation has enhanced its FSO training to include the new rules for the Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC). In addition to familiarization with the maritime security regulations contained in 33 CFR Subchapter H (101, 104 & 105) and ISPS, persons taking the FSO are trained on TWIC requirements and are shown how significant costs potentially associated with compliance with these new rules can best be limited. Class attendees will receive course manuals along with a CD-ROM packed with helpful references, which are useful for training your personnel with security duties.

MARSEC Corporation has been awarded the DET NORSKE VERITAS New York (DNV) Certificate of Approval for its Security Officer Training Course, on behalf of the United States Coast Guard National Maritime Center (NMC) and the United States Maritime Administration (MARAD).

MARSEC Corporation has enhanced its VSO/FSO/CSO training to include the new rules for the Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) and guidance on defensive measures to help protect against acts of piracy. In addition to familiarization with the maritime security regulations contained in 33 CFR Subchapter H (101, 104 & 105) and ISPS, persons taking the VSO/FSO/CSO are trained on TWIC requirements, anti-piracy advisories, and are shown how significant costs potentially associated with compliance with these new rules can best be limited.
