Important News!
As one of the oldest and most experienced
companies in the business, Marsec Corporation continues to
provide maritime security and safety
consulting services including performing annual
security audits, facilitating annual security
exercises, and drafting security plans, for both vessels
and facilities. We also provide maritime security training
at all levels, including our USCG/USMARAD Approved
CSO/VSO/FSO Course, which mutiple USCG Sector commands have
contracted for and used in teaching the regulations to
their own staff members.
Both our Gulf and Midwest offices are in full-time
operation, handling work that comes in from the East or
West coasts as well as Hawaii and Alaska, between
them.
Marsec also provides a variety of other services to
interested clients. During the summer of 2010, our
primarily retired CG staff provided the expertise to
enable us to supply services in support of clean-up efforts
during the Gulf Coast oil spill in organizing beach
clean-ups and managing "fleets of convenience" tasked with
dragging booms to corral the oil.
More recently, we have become involved in assisting the
owners of vessels regulated under 46 CFR Subchapter "T"
(Small Passenger Vessels) in their efforts to comply with
recent rules changes requiring them to recalculate
passenger carriage limits based on the Average Assumed
Weight Per Person (AAWPP), see 46 CFR 170.090 &
178.215.
Marsec has carried on and expanded our efforts
in arranging cooperative maritime security exercises
within Ports. For those clients interested in
obtaining our services for multi-company, multi-agency,
cooperative maritime security exercises, considerable
discounts per company or agency, may be arranged, as
compared to our services for single-entity exercises.
Discounts may similarly be negotiated when combining any
multi-client, or multi-service contract.
Gulf, East coast, and International customers are
encouraged to contact our Gulf office at (630)
399-3962 and ask for Bob Gobert, or at (312) 343-5564 and
ask for Rob Seale.
West coast customers may contact Clevester
Granville at (703) 498-1086.
Midwest and all others may reach me at the below numbers.
Thanking you for your past business, wishing you a most
prosperous year, and looking forward to serving you in
2011!
